Kusu Boloko Currency from Congo.

These “Boloko” metal forms were used as currency by the Kusu people of Democratic Republic of Congo. Hand made out of thick and solid bronzer Iron, which has a predominant copper ingredient. Boloko were used for rare and major transactions. The typical time line for the use of these currency forms was between the 16th and 19th century.
